Dr. Fenny Ang has a PhD in International Business, specializing in developing Cultural Intelligence and interpersonal trust in diverse geographies. She has done extensive research in the China workplace and is now writing her e-book, tentatively entitled “Surviving in the Land of Panda with CQ: The secret ingredient to expatriate success.” She will be publishing snippets of the book in her Blog here.
She is an Advanced CQ™ Certified Facilitator* with the Cultural Intelligence Centre, USA and has multiple certifications for other commercial psychometrics tools that she employs for her coaching and training assignments.
Dr. Ang was previously a change management consultant with Accenture and IBM for more than 12 years and has many years of practitioner experiences in human resources, organisation development, talent management and executive coaching. Her career in management consulting, HR and coaching spans across the globe i.e. Malaysia, Singapore, China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Thailand, Indonesia, Australia, America, and the Philippines.
She is currently based in Jakarta and works as a training facilitator and executive coach for several multi national companies like Nestle and SG Johnson here in Jakarta. In that capacity, she specialises in leadership development, change management, coaching and performance management. In her spare time, she provides life coaching to the expatriate community and serves as a Board member in a global NGO, Tirzah International which focuses on current day women issues.
Her passion is to help people realize their potential to live out abundant lives, personally and professionally. She also enjoys coaching and training young leaders to step up into their roles with value-based leadership principles.
